Machine translation is the one part of this that costs real money per string. Rather than hide that in a seat price, you choose who pays the model.
Bring your own key
All plansPaste an Anthropic, OpenAI or DeepL key and locoloop calls your account. There is no volume cap from us and no margin on top — you see the usage on your provider's invoice.
Managed AI
Business upWe run a current frontier model and include an allowance with each editor seat. Nothing to configure, no second invoice, and we upgrade the model as better ones ship.
Allowance is pooled across your organisation, so one heavy month on one platform is fine. Past it, translation queues until the next cycle or you add a metered top-up at €4 per 10,000 strings — we never translate into an overage bill you didn't approve.
What counts as an editor
An editor is one named person who can change a string. Everyone else — the people who approve, and the people who just look — is free and unlimited from Team up.

A seat belongs to one email address with one active session. Reassigning it to a different person is allowed once per billing period — enough for staff changes, not enough to rotate one login through a team.
New editors are prorated to the day. Remove one and the credit lands on your next invoice. No minimum commitment on monthly plans.
Counted once across every platform. Inherited cells in a client variant are not counted twice — only the keys you actually override add to the total.
Fourteen days, with sensible ceilings
The trial gives you every Business feature, including our managed AI, without a card. We'd rather state the limits up front than let someone import a million keys on day one and discover the ceiling mid-migration.
None of this is a trap. Nothing you translate is deleted, and the ceilings lift the moment you add a card.
Enough to translate a real app into several languages and judge the quality. Past it, bring your own key and carry on uncapped.
Import as much as you like up to this; the importer tells you the count before it commits, so nothing fails halfway.
A daily rate limit as well as a total, so a single bulk job can't drain the whole trial in one afternoon by accident.
Tied to the verified work domain, so a second signup on the same domain joins your existing trial rather than starting a fresh one.
At the end of the trial your account becomes a Free account. Everything above the free ceiling goes read-only rather than being deleted — you can always export the lot.

About billing
What exactly is a key?
One identifier, counted once no matter how many languages it has. pay.confirm.title in nine languages is one key.
What happens if I pass the key limit?
Imports stop and we tell you before they commit. Existing keys keep working and stay editable — we don't hold your strings hostage or delete anything.
Why is my own AI key required on Free?
So a free account costs us nothing per string and we can leave the free tier genuinely usable rather than crippling it. From Business up, the choice is yours.
Can I switch between my key and yours?
Any time, per project. A project set to your key never touches our allowance, which is a useful way to keep one high-volume platform off the meter.
Is annual refundable?
Within 30 days, in full, no questions. After that you keep the plan until the term ends and can stop it renewing.

Yes — 50% off any plan for registered non-profits, and free Business for open-source projects with a public repository. Email us.
